Birding around London area at The Coves and Westminster Ponds end of September 2024
I saw this Red-tailed Hawk up on a pole then suddenly it flew to the ground and caught something in a field. It looked like a squirrel. It was on the ground for a few minutes and few off with its meal.
I went to The Coves a few times this week. A couple of Great Egrets are still around.
Saw 4 Great Blue Herons today.
