Bruce Peninsula (Part Two)

Took a walk at Cyprus Lake in the Bruce Peninsula National Park, part of the Niagara escarpment.  June 15, 2017
There is diverse wetlands and ancient cedar trees, cliffs, and very old limestone rock. 
It was a cloudy day with some rain off and on, high of 16.
Apparently, there was a bear sighted the night before but didn't see any bears.  Didn't see any snakes either.

Bruce Peninsula (Part One)

There are a few islands located in Fathom Five National Marine Park. Took a boat to Flowerpot Island which have white cedars and mixed-woodlands.  I saw a Bald Eagle on top of a high tree from the boat....can see the whole bird with thick green trees behind it.  It was a beautiful sight!

The Flowerpots are a type of sea stack, formed over many years as wind, rain, waves and ice hammered away at the cliffs on Georgian Bay  The water is beautiful and crystal clear.
