Starting off, it has been cold with all the ponds frozen and parts of the Thames River. The first part of January it was very cold (feeling like -16c) to a mild day of +14c.
At the Coves, I saw a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. I don't see them very often.

Today, January 5 was a milder day. It's always nice to see Robins...I counted 16.

January 10/26 - With the mild weather the last few days, rain and snow melt, the Thames River is very high and fast moving. The water is over the banks and at the duck lookout, which is under water, the ducks and geese were swimming on the grass area.
