Thames Valley Trail

This morning I decided to go to Gibbons Park.  Birds I saw were Brown-headed Cowbirds, Common Grackle, Robin, Mallard, Canada Geese, Barn Swallows, Turkey Vultures and Killdeer.
Birds I could not see but heard.  Song Sparrow and Warbling Vireo.
I walked part of the Thames Valley Trail along the Thames River.

Canada Geese - Goslings are getting big

I took the picture of the Killdeer far away along the river.  So it's blurry.  I was desperate in getting a photo of a bird, the Killdeer and Canada Geese were the best I can do.

A little bit of everything

I went to Springbank Park this morning.  It was a nice warm sunny day.  The high today is 28 degrees, humidex 35.  Just within an hour, I can feel it getting warmer and warmer.
I didn't see a lot of birds as the larger trees are getting leaves and the smaller trees and bushes are filling out so I relied on bird sounds....Red-bellied Woodpecker, Yellow Warbler, Baltimore Oriole.   I saw Barn Swallows, Gray Catbird, Red-winged Blackbird, Song Sparrow and American Goldfinch.

The water of the Thames has been going down so I can see some rocks and the river edge.  This is the first week I was hearing the toads croaking.
