Today was the day to go to Rondeau Park to see what birds I can find.
Thanks to my sister for driving me to Rondeau Park. We arrived at the park around 9:30am. I first visited the feeders at the visitor centre. The visitor centre was closed due to no hydro. I'm assuming from the wind storm yesterday. Then walked around the Tulip Tree Trail. The Prothonotary Warbler was there so I was able to get some photos, not clear but at least got some pictures. Also saw Baltimore Oriole and some thrushes. After lunch, I walked around Spicebush Trail. It was very quiet...didn't see much. Then on to the Marsh Trail.
Song Sparrow
American Goldfinches
Rose-breasted Grosbeak

I didn't get a clear photo of this thrush.

The Mayapple plants are growing nicely.

I was able to see the Prothonotary Warbler...what a beauty!
