A Quiet Morning

Hyde Park Rail Trail - London, Ontario

I went for a short walk in Hyde Park today.  It was a cool 13 degrees with some wind.  Didn't see too many butterflies or dragonflies.  I saw this damselfly (below) bluet species.  There was a few of those around.

  1. Your bug sp. looks to be a Virginia Ctenucha (a species of moth)

  2. The dark insect with the orange shoulders is probably a Virginia Ctenucha moth. They are day-flying and the body is a lovely turquoise blue in the sun.
