Belted Kingfisher - Springbank 2017
I went for a walk in Springbank Park, London. It was sunny but cool, -1 degrees. The snow is all gone...just a bit of ice around. I first heard and saw a fly by Belted Kingfisher. It went into a tree high up over the river. If I didn't see the Kingfisher land in this tree, I would not have known it was there.

I walked further down the river and came across some Hooded Mergansers.
They were a distance away so could not get a close-up.

I also saw some Chickadees, Juncos, Mallards, lots of Canada Geese, Mourning Doves and Ring-billed Gulls.
