Early Spring Birds

Springbank Park, February 22, 2017

Sunny, warm, high of 15.  Sounds of Spring.

I saw Song Sparrows, Red-winged Blackbirds, Downy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch, Black-capped Chickadee, Dark-eyed Junco, Mallard, and Canada Geese.

Quiet day in Springbank

Springbank Park, February 1, 2017....didn't see much today.  Canada Geese, Mallards and Hooded Mergansers.

I decided to go to Springbank  Park, London this morning.  It was 1 degree, overcast.  The section I walked, I didn't see any ducks. The river was high with fast rapids. I just got a picture of a Red-bellied Woodpecker high in the tree. today.
